A Normal Routine is in Sight

Thank goodness the boys slept extremely well last night. They both again awoke at two, but after I gave Danny some milk and Josh his dinner (we took it home from the restaurant), I brought them back up and they both fell asleep immediately--Okay after a little crying. We woke this morning at 6 and got ready for the driver to come and take us to a shopping center Dustin found close to the house. I need pictures of myself for the health screening (to register with the government to live here for longer than a trip you need a health screen done--similar to a physical), and other items for the house--all which can be found at this shopping center.
This time traffic is better and we are able to make it to the store in 30 minutes (this appears to be the standard to get to almost anything here). As the Kodak store was not open or the appliance store (need to buy a hair dryer) we began in the Carefour store (France's Walmart). We picked up mostly cleaning agents, laundry detergent (as this pile is getting pretty high by now). We also picked up food for our dinner tonight. We plan to get milk at the little market at the clubhouse.
After finishing in Carefour we have our driver help us translate with the Kodak store to obtain the correct size photos that I need. Thankfully in our phones we purchased software that helps us translate because our driver speaks extremely limited English and the clerk in the store spoke none. We were able to pick up a hair dryer in the appliance store and then headed to the Papa Johns for pizza. (We are purposely sticking with the American food for the boys sake). Danny seems like he is really adjusting well, and once he gets rested he will be doing fantastic.
We headed back to the house and Dustin after helping unload the car left to go to the office. He had to go to check on a few matters and to see if we can get our cell phones working--to get anything other than prepaid, we need the office to do it. The boys and I decided to head to the clubhouse to play in the indoor park area. When we first arrived we were mostly by our selves until about 1pm. Then it started getting really crowded. Danny played with a little girl and her brother and seemed to have a great time. Josh enjoyed climbing and going down a slide with my help. We then quickly headed to the market to get milk and some drinks. Everything is paid by our membership number, and it was funny when she pulled up Dustin and myself and it had our names but other people's pictures (we just dropped our pictures off that afternoon).
I decided to take Danny and Josh just a short ways down the path next to our house. There is a bridge that goes over a small creek and we looked at the house from the bridge. Once inside I got them straight to naps, which gives me some time to just relax. I feel like I have been on call around the clock since we left because of the boys waking up each night and then needing us even more during the day because they are so exhausted. Ahhhhhh, we are finally settling into a pattern of normalcy. I was about to loose it this morning after shopping, thinking about the afternoon by myself with the boys (I was so tired)--they call it "China Days" here--where you just want to get home and after we were shopping this was how I felt. Thank heavens though the Lord has provided us this house away from home that is beginning to feel more like our home with each day as we begin to settle into a pattern and begin to get things organized and familiar. On that note, I am off to wash some dishes because I am making our dinner tonight--the boys favorite--spaghetti (we splurged in the import section at Carefour).
